Every personal site needs a first post. So here we are.
Why a personal site?
I've been meaning to build a proper home on the internet for a while. Not just a LinkedIn profile or a GitHub readme, but something that feels like mine — a place to think out loud, share things I'm building, and occasionally write something worth reading.
The goal isn't to post constantly. It's to have somewhere to put ideas that are too long for a tweet and too informal for a paper.
What to expect
A mix of things:
- Technical writing — deep dives on problems I've worked through, things I've learned building software
- Project logs — updates on things I'm building, with the messy in-between included
- Essays — occasionally, something more personal or speculative
I'll write when I have something worth saying. No editorial calendar, no content strategy.
About this site
Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, hosted on Vercel. The design is intentionally typographic — I wanted something that feels like reading, not scanning.
Blog posts live as plain Markdown files in content/blog/. Easy to edit, no CMS required.
That's it. More to come.
